You might prefer your prospective other half to live in the same city as you, purely for practicality, you may be looking for someone who's a bit of a cinephile so you can kick back with a film together, or you might just want someone who's as daft as you are so you can goof around.

But one guy has gone viral on social media after sharing some pretty specific requirements for a love interest.
Posting to a Facebook group, the unidentified person listed out exactly what they were looking for in a missus... And we'll warn you now, it's a lot.
"I'm just a 35-year-old lost soul looking for love," the post began, according to news.com.au.
The man also reportedly shared a Snapchat-filtered photo alongside the post, which continued: "If you're between the ages of 19 and 23, are no taller than 5'1, weigh between 43-47kg, are Caucasian or maybe half-caste [or] something exotic.

"If you have a job, license, reasonably modern car, regularly gym (no skinny-fat girls thanks), have an 'innie' vagina, C-cup breasts, no cheap tattoos, no face piercings...
"Have no ex-fuck buddies or ex-boyfriends who I know or know of and also are willing to move to Canberra to be my girl, have a good personality and sense of humour, never get bratty or start arguments over nothing, and are not insecure when I don't come home all weekend, then please... hit me up."

The original post was apparently shared on Facebook back in October 2018, but has since resurfaced and is doing the rounds pretty much all over the Internet.
"Well with a list like that I think he is going to struggle to find anyone, let's be thankful he won't be propagating his genes," one person commented.
A third said he must be 'looking for a doll', based on such specific requirements.

The controversial post also made it to Mumsnet, where others slammed the comments for 'casual racism'.
"What a racist and misogynistic fuckwad," one person said.

Another added: "I was distracted by his casual racism and his blatant misogyny, and his bizarrely specific list of requirements. A 40kg weight range?! Weirdo," another wrote.
Someone else suggested the post may have been mocked up by an ex, eager to spread the word about what they were really like.
Over on Reddit, meanwhile, someone deemed the pitch 'downright atrocious'.
"This is unbelievably creepy. I feel like I need to take a shower after reading this," another person said.
Something tells us this guy might be spending Valentine's Day alone this year...
