Look out single lads, Tinder Social is launching and it's going to be a game changer for all of us that are looking for love and/or a 3am post-club shag.
The new feature allows groups of friends to discover each other and meet up. Previously, the app had focused purely on offering singles a way to find dates.
Now you and all your thirsty mates can band together and meet groups of girls!
Tinder's chief told the BBC that the move was: "The first step that [they're] taking to make Tinder more social and a little broader when it comes to the types of connections [they] want to enable".
The beta of the app was tested in Australia, with Tinder co-founder and CEO Sean Rad saying that the company has learned a lot from the beta testing.
Originally, the beta gave groups of friends the option to match and later meet up via chat.
"Our users were very much focused on immediacy and cared about what they wanted to do tonight," said Rad. "We made a considerable amount of changes to how it works since the Australia launch and oriented the entire product around going out tonight."
One problem I can see with this app is that everyone will want to get with the fittest people in the opposite group and nobody will want to settle. It's always awkward when you and your mate are trying to chat up the same girl, innit.
Others have pointed out that the new feature could be seen as a way to facilitating group sex.
"Tinder is seen by many as being a hook-up site," commented Ben Wood from the CCS Insight consultancy.
"So, it needs to be careful. By expanding in this direction, rather than becoming a more interesting social meeting service, it could be perceived as an orgy app."
You can see why Tinder's chief executive Sean Rad has stressed that it was not about targeting this 'niche' activity.
"It definitely allows you to make connections beyond just romantic ones," he explained to the BBC.
"We look at Tinder as not just being a dating app, but capturing your entire social life. And your social life has so many different aspects to it.
"The beauty of putting this in the same app is that we have scale - we have tens of millions of users all over the world.
"So, overnight you can get the power of Tinder and connect with others going out tonight in a way that was never possible."
Me and my mates have already agreed to band together to form an unholy alliance of banter, animalistic sex appeal and crippling social awkwardness. So watch out ladies of Tinder - if you're swiping round Manchester we could be matching very soon.
