Remember 21-year-old Christine Jiaxin Lee? The girl whose bank inadvertently increased her overdraft limit to £2.4million?

For four years the chemical engineering student quite literally shopped until she dropped, spending a total of £1.7million.

Now, the details of what she spent that money on have been revealed. And incredibly, the majority of it seems to have gone on bloody HANDBAGS.

Christine, seriously. Why not get a car? Or a house?

Here's some of the unbelievably extravagant purchases she made:

Chanel cashmere pillow - $1,350

Cartier love bracelet - $9,000

Christian Louboutin boots - $2,500

Birkin Himalayan crocodile palladium bag - $158,225.67

A handbag worth nearly $160,000?! Has this woman ever heard of Primark?! Jesus Christ.

Here's the full list:

She wasn't messing about, as the list shows that on April 9, 2015, she spent $220,200 at the Christian Dior Sydney store. She clearly wasn't content with this as she went back the next day to spend a further $94,520.

According to news.com.au, Christine was arrested at Sydney Airport last week when she attempted to flee the country using an emergency passport. She was charged with obtaining financial advantage by deception and knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime.

The student's boyfriend, Vincent King, who lives in north west Sydney with Christine, claimed to have no knowledge of the mistake made by Westpac bank.

Magistrate Lisa Stapleton questioned whether the 21-year-old's use of the money was an actual proceed of crime, given that it was a mistake made by the bank that was simply taken advantage of.

She said: "It isn't proceeds of crime. It's money we all dream of."

She went on to say that police would struggle to prove that the spending of the money was illegal.

Prosecutor Marc Turner said that Westpac and police had made attempts to contact her about the money since 2012, but she failed to return emails or calls.

Well, you wouldn't - would you? There's handbags to be bought.

She's currently out on bail (paid for by her boyfriend) but it'll be interesting to see how this one pans out.
