There is a dark side of social media. Trolling, death threats, abuse and photo leaks. People seem to think that just because you can't see the person you're talking to or about on the internet, they can say whatever they want. Why hackers think it's funny to steal private and intimate photos of famous women and release them online is beyond me. It's like they don't think they're human and have feelings - it's illegal, disrespectful and deeply misogynistic.

It happened three years ago en masse and it's happening again.

It's being called The Fappening 2.0 (gross), and it started with pictures of Emma Watson (hers weren't nudes) and Amanda Seyfried. The latest victim is WWE superstar Paige. On Reddit, the hackers are threatening a whole lot more celebrities too, so it sounds like there's a lot more to come.

According to Hacker News: "According to a screenshot from an original 4chan thread, unknown hackers will be posting more intimate photos of female celebrities, including Kylie Jenner, Marisa Tomei, Jennifer Lawrence and several others, over the next few days, which indicates it's just the beginning of The Fappening 2.0"

In 2014, the hackers who released stolen images of female celebrities went to prison, so there's no doubt that this band of criminals will be heading that place soon.

But on Friday, Paige became their latest victim when they released intimate photos they had stolen from her.

The twenty-four year old has been wrestling since she was thirteen years old. In 2014, Paige debuted and defeated AJ Lee for the Divas Championship in her first match but she's been out of the spotlight since June due to a neck injury.

Paige quickly went on Twitter to make a statement about the leaked photos.

And the Divas Champion quickly followed it up with this music video by Rag'n'Bone Man called Human, to make a point about being a person and empathy. Might be a bit beyond the cowardly, immature losers who hacked her pictures, but it's still a belter.

Some of her fans were supportive.

Some of them not so much...

But Paige is part of the famous wrestling family the Knights - I would not take them on. I think that Paige's former partners who took the photos are going to get a rather terrifying stern talking to by her family members. Or even Paige herself - I wouldn't take her on.
