When you're booking a hotel (for any reason, I'm not here to judge) you generally try and find the one that's the best value for money. Maybe not the cheapest, but a breakfast included is always a nice touch.
However, if you're filthy, stinking rich, all sense goes out the bullet-proof glass window.
Milan's Excelsior Hotel Gallia has a suite which will set you back £17,000 a night.
But it's okay, everyone! Don't worry! It's 10,764 square foot and includes its own lift, conference room and four bedrooms! So it's definitely worth the annual income of some people!
The main thing is that it comes will LOADS of safety features - including bullet-proof glass all over the place, its own entrance and a 24-hour butler.
The Mirror reported it also comes with a spa, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and whirlpool bath.
Apparently, it's perfect for 'high-level diplomats'. I don't know, mate. I'm struggling to think of a single person who could justify spending £17k on one night's stay. Unless you come out 10 years younger and permanently smelling like blueberries... it's a waste of money. Period.

If you like the look of the hotel but can't quite afford that ridiculous amount, don't worry. You can get other rooms for around £220 a night. Score.
