Weird Video Of 'Huge Flying Saucer' Causes Controversy Online

Weird Video Of 'Huge Flying Saucer' Causes Controversy Online

Is it real?

Everyone loves a good old UFO video, right? Half of us believe it's real and get really excited, while the other half of us call them out. It's great fun.

I know those of you who are especially pedantic will probably say: 'Everything is a UFO if we can't identify it, that's why it's called an unidentified flying object'. Okay. I get it. But generally, we associate the word 'UFO' with aliens, right?

You're like the guy at Halloween who has a go at the guy dressed as Frankenstein because the correct term is 'Frankenstein's monster'. Yeah, we know.

Rant aside, this video appears to show a massive UFO descend from the clouds, lighting up the surrounding area. It then disappears.

It seems to have split the opinion of the viewers (believe it or not!) with many claiming that is was CGI.

One person commented: "I think this is CGI. The sky is the give away. The video seems to cut out for a split second when it disappears."

Another said: "Amazing footage. I'm not surprised the person filming was shaking so much when it became visible."

The person who 'filmed' the footage wrote: "It's not clear whether the UFO got hit by the lightning strike or whether it was using the lightning for its energy.

"After the lightning strike, the UFO becomes visible for 30 seconds and illuminates the sky and the surrounding area.

"Then a second lightning strike is heard and the UFO disappears.

"When the UFO disappears the area turns dark again."

They added: "Did the UFO open up a portal in order to travel to another dimension?"

This comes after the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) released 13 million pages of declassified documents online a couple of weeks ago.

Non-profit freedom of information group, MuckRock, sued the CIA in order to force it to upload the collection. It took over two years, but it finally happened.

According to the BBC, the released information is actually pretty damn interesting. It includes information on UFO sightings and psychic experiments - including one on famed illusionist and magician, Uri Geller.

These particular records come under the CIA's 'Stargate' programme. Basically, a conspiracy theorist's wet dream.

Stargate's mission was to investigate psychic powers and extrasensory perception, as well as other psychic phenomena to be used by the military and intelligence services.

Uri was tested back in 1973. You can check out the video here...

He was asked to replicate pictures that other people were drawing in another room.

Judging by his finished products, he was creepily close. In fact, he was so similar that researchers wrote that he 'demonstrated his paranormal perceptual ability in a convincing and unambiguous manner'.

Creepy, right? Credit: CIA

There's even a recipe for invisible ink. Joke's on them, I bought that in pound shops when I was seven.

Some of the documents released have been available since the '90s, but they were locked down onto four computers that were in the library at the National Archives in Maryland and could only be accessed between 9am and 4:30pm each day.

Even if you went there every single day they've been available, I doubt you'd have been able to get through 13 million pages. You can access the documents here.

While we're on the subject of UFOs, how about some nice Thursday morning conspiracy theories?

Is this a massive UFO feeding off sun energy?

UFO and alien hunters think they've spotted alien spacecraft circling the sun to harvest solar power. Cheeky bastards, get your own sun.

The images from NASA show an unidentified white spot just on the outside of the sun, which some believe is 'star lifting' - the term used to describe taking material from a star.

Posting the clip to YouTube, Streetcap1 wrote: "Is this a massive UFO feeding off sun energy?" I don't know, mate, you're the UFO expert, you tell me.

Although Streetcap1 isn't fully sold on the idea, others seem to think it's legit.

UFO sighting caught on drone camera

A US Air Force veteran sent this footage to the 'Mutual UFO Network' for investigation after he spotted a UFO.

The network, which has now sent the film to NASA, claims the mysterious object was filmed flying around 50 feet off the ground at a speed estimated to be around 10,000mph.

The veteran, from Ayden, North Carolina, filmed the shocking sight on 26 October.

He told the Daily Star: "This UFO video was captured with my DJI Phantom 3 Professional 4K aerial camera.

"I thought I had seen it all. This footage took me back. I was flying my aerial camera from Ayden District Park. The skies were clear with unlimited visibility.

"I did not witness this object first hand; it wasn't until I reviewed the 4K footage on my 4K TV that I first spotted the object on video."

The Mutual UFO Network's North Carolina investigator, Sanford Davis, said he was perplexed by the film.

UFO 'Coming To Earth Through Wormhole'

This super convincing, definitely not fake, completely 100 percent legit video of a space-craft being 'shot to Earth in a plasma beam' was uploaded in December.

No-one knows where the video came from, although it's believed to have originated on a Spanish Facebook page. Scott C Waring from UFO Sightings Daily believes the video was shot on 1st December.

He wrote online: "Arizona is a famous hotspot for UFOs and Alien bases, so it's nice to get this substantial evidence of their existence in that area.

"This is an alien ship, shooting off through the clouds, leaving earth. It almost looks like a meteorite, but it's not falling, it's going up."

However, UFO Of Interest head Scott Brando said: "Yes, it's a fake CGI. There are previous sharings about the same video being fake."
