Dog's are a man's best friend and the most loyal companion anyone of us could ever dream of having.
Unfortunately, this distraught dog owner had to watch on as her beloved pooch was eaten by a python and she could do nothing about it.
Klomphan Khiewwan, from Thailand, woke up to see a python's jaws wrapped around Fino, her dog, at 3am. Fair warning, the following video is very graphic.

Volunteer rescue service Ruamkatanyu Foundation arrived at her home with snake catching equipment after she called them, but the damage had already been done.
The 21-year-old had heard her dog earlier in the night, but was trying to sleep at the time and assumed there was no major problem. When volunteers arrived the snake backed off, releasing the half-eaten canine from its mouth. It was then caught and released back into the wild, where it belongs, according to Coconut News, Bangkok.

Sadly, it's not uncommon, as in 2014 dog owners caught a three-and-a-half metre python in Australia eating their Maltese-Shih tzu, according to the Daily Mail.
