This Lad's Sense Of Humour Has Sent His Tinder Profile Viral

A lot of people search long and hard for advice and tips on how to really succeed on Tinder. Others choose to try and invent their own fool proof methods of getting more people to swipe right.

Unfortunately there's no actual science or definitive method of securing plenty of matches - it's pretty much based on luck.

Last month a survey found that the best way of increasing your prevalence on the app is to have a good sense of humour, as that's what women value most. For men, it was slightly different, as they valued good looks as the most important trait on Tinder.

This geezer, called Jared, has got his sense of humour nailed on. He's gone for the ironically-cheeky-and-cocky-but-I'm-taking-the-piss-out-of-myself-so-it's-okay type approach.

A Twitter user called Natalia stumbled across the University of Florida student's Tinder profile, and ended up screenshotting and posting it, such was her amazement to his profile layout.

First things first, the opening line in his bio reads: "I call myself Jared, but you can call me tonight."

At this point you'd be excused for thinking he was a typical cocky bellend, but then you see his pictures.

A lot of time seems to have gone into constructing four pictures of him throwing a dart, it landing on 'your heart' and him looking mightily smug.

All in all it's a bit corny, but it's kind of worked.

Firstly, Natalia was taken aback so much that she felt the need to share it - Jared has his name out there. Secondly, after it began to go viral a bunch of people began to say that they'd swipe right, and some even copied him.

According to the Mirror Jared is still single, though his Twitter profile claims he's a 'genius, billionaire and playboy'.

He's left his messages open, so anyone can drop him a line. He's obviously expecting big things now that he's gone viral.
