Seven-Year-Old Girl Applied For A Job At Google And Got A Personalised Response From CEO

This is brilliant.

It's never too early to start thinking about your career, especially if you're hoping to get a job at one of the world's biggest tech companies.

One little girl who understands this is seven-year-old Chloe Bridgewater, who wrote a letter to 'Google boss' expressing her desire to work for the company.

In her letter, which is really adorable, Chloe writes that her dad told her she could sit on bean-bags, go down slides and ride go-carts if she gets a job at Google, which is as good a reason as any to want a job.

She goes on to write that she is good at spelling, reading and sums, before adding that this is only the second letter she has ever sent - the first was to Father Christmas. Aww.

Andy told Business Insider that Chloe had asked him where he would like to work and he told her that Google 'was a nice place to work' because of its amazing employee benefits (as well as go-karts, Google also offers its staff free food and drinks, the option to take your dog to work and martial art classes) and she decided that she would quite like to work there, too. So they got the application process in motion and wrote a letter.

And for her trouble Chloe, who lives in Hereford, managed to get herself a personalised reply from the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, in which he wrote that he looks forward to seeing her application.

In his response, Sundar wrote: "I'm glad that you like computers and robots, and hope that you continue to learn about technology.

"I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to - from working at Google to swimming in the Olympics.

"I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school." How cool is that?

Chloe's dad Andrew shared the letter and the response on LinkedIn and wrote alongside it: "After seeing images of Google offices with their bean bags, go karts and slides my seven-year-old daughter decided to write to Google to see if they would give her a job.

"She lost a great deal of confidence after being knocked down by a car a couple of years ago. However, to say she is delighted after receiving this letter signed by Sundar Pichai himself is an understatement.

"She is now even more eager to do well at school and work for Google. Can't thank such a busy person enough to take time out to make a little girl's dream become one step closer, although not sure she's fully aware that it'll take more than riding go karts and sleeping in pods to make it with Google!"
