Lad Becomes 'Possessed By Pokémon Demon' While In Line At The Bank

Despite the hype surrounding Pokémon Go having recently died down, it's still taking over some people's lives.

You could say it's a bad thing, but when in pursuit of a rare Snorlax it's understandable to let the prospect of catching 'em all consume you. It may be going a bit far now, though.

Footage has emerged online of the moment a man becomes 'possessed' while playing the game.

The video shows a Brazilian native pinned to the floor in Rio Grande do Norte, screaming and shouting out for Pokémon.

Capital.pe reported that the man allegedly told officers that he was waiting in line at the bank when he got 'strange thoughts and lost control'.

Following the Pocket Monster inspired outburst, the trainer was arrested and taken to a police station in Natal, according to reports. He has since been released on bail.

The video, which was uploaded to YouTube, has racked up 144,000 views.
