ISIS Suicide Car Bomb Blown Up Just Yards Away From Iraqi Militia Troops

Every day, Iraqi militia continue to fight ISIS, but the scenes never get any less surprising.

Today, a truck reportedly filled with explosives was driven by a suicide bomber towards the Iraqi fighters in an attempted terrorist attack.

Heading towards the Popular Mobilisation Units (PMU), a state-sponsored Shiite defence organisation and a position they were holding, the vehicle was blown up just yards away from them.

The truck came under heavy fire from troops in Tal Afar, north-west Iraq, eventually being blown up and was filmed by a member of the militia, but is yet to be independently verified.

Shiite fighters previously successfully reclaimed an airbase in Tal Afar after ISIS captured it, as Iraqi government forces arrived to help the fighters.
