Girl Shares Selfie At Granddad's Funeral, Coffin Emoji 'N All

To most of us a funeral for a loved one is used as an opportunity to pay our respects to a loved one who'll be severely missed. Not a time to take the perfect selfie.

Snapchat have given us the opportunity to share just about any situation we find ourselves in, and there's an emoji to go with most of those scenarios. This still doesn't make it totally normal to Snapchat your granddad's funeral with a coffin emoji.

Francia Fierros Palomino, from Mexico, took the opportunity to flaunt her makeup, clothes and sun glasses in a 'sensual pose' with her granddad's coffin in the background. Mourners can also be seen in the picture, saying their goodbyes.

The girl also posted a mirror selfie on Facebook, which made it look like she had been out for afternoon tea with her mum, with the caption "Coming back from the funeral, Rest in Peace granddad." Luckily she put location filters on both of her snaps, just so people knew where she was.

As you'd expect Francia is a serial selfie taker, usually sharing the same type of pictures in a less morbid setting. People were quick to criticise her, claiming that her granddad was better off in his coffin, rather than witnessing his granddaughter do this - bit harsh.

Now people on social media have reportedly labelled her 'LadyFuneral' which by all accounts is a terrible nickname to have.
