Footage Emerges Of Innmates Rioting In Chicago Jail

Footage has emerged of a 'prison riot' in the States.

CCTV video of a canteen in the maximum security wing of Cook Country Jail, Chicago, shows a scrap ensue between several of the inmates. Watch as they knock out their fellow prisoners with single-punches and stab them with shanks and flee from the lunging intimidation employed by others.

It's hard to decipher what or who is responsible for the fight, not that that really matters anyway. The whole fear instilled in the rest of us when it comes to serving sentences is based around the horror of there being no rhyme or reason to the violence of the violent people in jails. £10 says some guy made accidental eye-contact with a trigger-happy nutter. I doubt this is some deep-rooted turf war fought over porridge.

Among the weapons found after the riot, two were believed to have been made from parts of inhalers, proving that inmates are not only highly obsessed with violence, but also highly inventive. I'm not sure whether that's laudable or not.
