This is the moment a plane carrying drugs was taken down thanks to the drastic efforts of police.

The footage, shot in Brazil, shows the driver speeding towards the small aircraft. The vehicle then almost entirely smashesthe plane's left wing in a bid to stop the pilot from taking flight.

The car's windshield is simultaneously shattered as a result.

The cops then get out, gun in hands, and confront the pilot. They shout: "Police stop. Get out, get out now."

The policeman driving the car allegedly says: "I'm going to hit the wing. I'm going to hit the wing. Do not shoot."

The video has been viewed over 1.6 million times on the internet, with viewers commenting on the similarities between the footage and games.

"Smashing that wing off with your car is some Grand Theft Auto V level s*** if I"ve ever seen it," one person wrote.

Another said: "It's like real life Narcos, better watch out Pablo doesn't take his revenge.

"I can't imagine there is a standard protocol for this scenario as it must occur so infrequently, but I think this should be the new standard protocol."

One Reddit user defended the cop's decision to drive straight into the plane's wing, saying: "I can't imagine there is a standard protocol for this scenario as it must occur so infrequently, but I think this should be the new standard protocol."

Another strongly disagreed, arguing: "Hell no. All he had to do is hit the rear stabilizers at an angle and that would have disabled the aircraft. Hitting the wing, which just so happens to align with windshield, was very risky for the passenger and driver. It also left them in front of the aircraft and not behind it which is a tactical disadvantage."

"Yeah but that shit was fucking dope, though," another levelled, proving that there are two kinds of people on this planet and Reddit serves as a constant reminder.
