It's just one nightmare after the other for Samsung at the moment. First, its phones were exploding and now it's had to recall 2.8 million washing machines for the same reason.
According to the U.S. Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the decision to recall the appliances happened after reports that 730 of certain models had exploded. They announced it on Good Morning America earlier today.
Elliot Kaye, chairman of the CPSC, said: "We're talking about... a very serious hazard of the top of these washing machines completely blowing off."
Back in September, the company released a statement regarding some of its washing machines which addressed certain issues with the models. The company wrote: "In rare cases, affected units may experience abnormal vibrations that could pose a risk of personal injury or property damage when washing bedding, bulky or water-resistant items."

However, it looks like the issue is affecting more than just a few rare cases.

What's going on?! You can't help but feel a little sorry for them but seriously... sort it out, Samsung.
