A world-renowned doctor has taken to Twitter making a far-fetched statement claiming that Russia's President Vladimir Putin could have poisoned Hillary Clinton.
Clinton was diagnosed earlier this week with pneumonia. The 68-year-old Democratic candidate for the White House collapsed into the arms of her Secret Service agents on Sunday after being rushed from the 9/11 memorial service at the World Trade Centre in New York.

Since the drama unfolded, Dr Bennet Omalu, the man who exposed the NFL concussion crisis, has taken to social media platform Twitter to air his theory: "I must advice [sic] the Clinton campaign to perform toxicologic analysis of Ms Clinton's blood. It is possible she is being poisoned."
The plot thickened as he added in another tweet: "I do not trust Mr Putin and Mr Trump. With those two all things are possible."

Dr Omalu was played by Will Smith in the film Concussion, which told the true story of the time when Dr Omala confronted the NFL over head injuries sustained by NFL players.
Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has not reacted to Dr Omalu's tweets but he has wished Clinton well and said he hoped to see her at the first televised presidential debate on September 22.
Clinton hasn't had the best track record with her health and Trump has made several jibes claiming than the past first lady was not fit enough for the job. She suffered two separate coughing fit incidents while on the campaign trail; one while she was speaking in Ohio and another while she was taking questions from reporters, reports the Daily Mail.

Let's hope that Dr Omalu is wrong this time. Could you imagine the shitstorm that would occur if Trump won the seat in the White House - we may as well declare World War Three now, if that's going to be the case. Please Clinton, for democracy's sake, get well soon.
