Boris Johnson Reveals That He Was Mistaken For Donald Trump In Newcastle

You know what, I kind of see it.

If someone came up to you and said: 'Wow, you really look like a celebrity. What's their name..?' - you'd probably be thinking: 'Please be Jude Law, Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp... anyone.'

Right?

Well, imagine if they then turned around and said: 'Oh yeah! Boris Johnson!'. You'd probably be a bit miffed. He's not quite the A-List celeb you'd hope your face is reminiscent of.

I've never noticed it before, but Boris and Donald Trump actually look quite similar. They're each other's doppelgänger. I'm not sure how happy either of them is with the comparison...

Check it out though.

Boris or Donald?

Donald or Boris? Doris? Bonald?

Okay they're not that similar, but the hair's pretty unusual.

Boris revealed in the House of Commons that he has, in fact, been mistaken for Donald Trump before. Prompted by Alex Salmond, SNP, who asked Boris if he wouldn't go back to New York just in case he's mistaken for the new POTUS and jokingly asked if Trump wouldn't visit here in case he was mistaken for Boris.

"I am embarrassed to say that I was mistaken for Mr Trump in - I think - Newcastle, which rather took me aback.

"It also happened in New York, which was a very humbling experience for me."

Well there you have it. Weird.
