I've only just found out today that women can reach orgasm.
I'm kidding, but I have only just found out that the female orgasm has eluded even the biggest brains in society for centuries.
Aristotle was baffled by the fact women could have evolved to achieve orgasms as it isn't necessary for reproduction.
Well, maybe not now, but some scientists over at Yale and the Cincinnati Children's Hospital have revealed that it might actually have been necessary at one time in history.
Basically, the female orgasm triggers two hormones in the brain: prolactin and oxytocin.
According to the researchers, the stimulation of these hormones allows for the ovaries to release an egg in lots of mammals.
Nowadays, although the human ovarian cycle does not rely on sex alone, the scientists believe that human reproduction may once have operated this way.
It was later that induced ovulation shifted to cyclical ovulation.
Make sense? I dunno. I'm just sick of typing 'the female orgasm' like some fucking creep.
