McDonald's Is Testing Out All-Day Breakfast Happy Meals

I love it when people call Happy Meals 'kids' meals' ha ha ha. It's so silly. Everybody knows Happy Meals are for hungover adults who can't stomach a regular meal. Sometimes I do wish they included breakfast items, though. Because nothing quite kisses goodbye to your hangover like a sausage and egg McMuffin, does it? AMIRITE?

Well, good news, my low-key alcoholic friends...

McDonald's announced yesterday that, from September 26, it will be testing out breakfast Happy Meals in Tulsa, Olkahoma. (SMH. Why do they never test cool new shit out in Widnes)?

If it's a hit, then they will roll it out across the U.S., and then eventually, with a bit of luck, in the UK.

That's good, innit?

According to Metro, the breakfast Happy Meal is available with either two McGriddles cakes (which is bacon and cheese sandwiched inside two pancakes) or an egg and cheese McMuffin. Be still my beating heart.

You also get a drink and a side of apple slices (euw), yoghurts or hash browns. You can also opt for fries, but only in the evenings.

Pam Williams, a director of innovation at McDonald's USA, said: "All day breakfast has really been a big hit with our customers, and that started from our customers telling us this is what they wanted.

"Since the launch of all day breakfast, more of our customers have been reaching out to us and asking us for these choices for their kids in the Happy Meals.''

Form an orderly queue behind me, kids.
