Can someone stop Donald Trump from tweeting for a bit? Or maybe give him a social media lesson? I don't think he realises the full influence of those little Wotsits he calls fingers.
Toyota shares have dropped faster than I did after the third Sambuca on New Year's Eve after the president-elect tweeted a negative comment regarding the company. It cost $1.2billion (拢971,738,616) in value.

Trump wrote: "Toyota Motor said (it) will build a new plant in Baja, Mexico, to build Corolla cars for U.S. NO WAY! Build plant in U.S. or pay big border tax."
It seems that he was confused, as the company is actually not moving. It's just building a new plant there.
In a statement to Reuters, the company said that the new Mexican plant won't cut any American employment, adding that it 'looks forward to collaborating with the Trump administration to serve in the best interests of consumers and the automotive industry'.

Hopefully, Toyota's value will bounce back once the shock wears off.
