Nirvana Confirm That The Kurt Cobain Conspiracy Theory 'Is True'

Wait... what?!

A few days ago, news spread like wildfire that Kurt Cobain was 'ALIVE'. The best part about the conspiracy theory was that he was working as a Kurt Cobain impersonator.

Throwing it out there, on paper, that's an absolutely genius plan. If there's any celebrities reading who want to disappear - there you have it. It's right there. The perfect get-out plan.

The video that caused all the commotion was of a man claiming to be Ramiro Saavedra (come on, Kurt. We know it's you) performing on Peruvian television.

Well, now, the official Facebook page for Nirvana has had their say.

The post reads: "It is true, Kurt is alive. He needed time to learn to play the guitar with his right hand.

"Finding left-handed guitars is not easy. We are so happy to have him back and forgive him for all of the sadness that we have held so deeply in our hearts."

Yeeeeesh.

Okay, we get that it's sarcasm but fuck. It's a little bit close to the line, right?!

A lot of fans have called out the anonymous poster for being 'insensitive' which I get, but also I bet they're pretty pissed off that thousands of people who never even met Kurt are claiming that he's alive. I imagine that would be quite painful.

The basic point they're trying to make is that Kurt (the real one) was left-handed. This Peruvian bloke is right-handed. Case closed.
