Remember that story from a few days ago about the treacherous, Machiavellian chocoholic who left a note after snatching a Kit Kat from the car of a university student? Justice has seen served, HARD.

Kit Kat has now issued the victim 6,500 bars of the crispy wafer treat, which is one biscuit a day for the next 17.8 years, according to a calculation my colleague just did.

The original note had read: "Saw Kit-Kat in your cut holder. I love Kit-Kats so I checked your door and it was unlocked.

"Did not take anything other than the Kit-Kat. I am sorry and hungry."

It was posted by Kansas State University student Hunter who said he'd left his car open for 15 minutes near his dorm when the robbery occurred.

It went viral, even getting a reply from Kit Kat itself, which wrote back: "Who steals someones Kit Kat?! WHO DOES THAT?! Shoot us a DM and we'll replace it for you."

Fair dos to them sticking to their promise and then some, and Godspeed to Hunter's physical health in years to come.
