Yep! We've all seen 'Success Kid' after a picture of him purporting to make a "get in there!" fist on a beach went viral in 2010.
Sammy Griner, now ten-years-old, has used him meme fame to help save his dad's life.

In 2006, Justin Griner suffered total kidney failure in 2009, leaving him on dialysis.

In 2012, Justin was told he needed a kidney transplant. The Griner's then set up a GoFundMe page to fund the surgery. Once it was revealed that Justin's son was the popular meme, the family raised over $100,000 in a matter of days.

In 2015, Justin successfully had the transplant.

Sammy is happy that his fame provided the surgery but says he doesn't want to rinse it for all its worth, recently turning down a TV appearance.

"I don't want to be shown on TV unless it's like just the picture," Sammy said.
"I'm really happy that I'm famous because I'm glad that people like it. I'm glad it makes people happy when they're sad. I'm also really happy that I still have a dad."
What a lad.
