Before I start, let's get the formalities out of the way. #RIPHarambe #RIPCecil...
An innocent tarantula, which was moments from death by a man trying to eat it, was saved by the quick thinking of a giant snake which locked its jaws on the monstrous man behind the attack.
In a video that has surfaced on the internet, the snake that is commonly known as the 'ninja of serpents' proves its agility when it saves its eight-legged friend from being crushed by the man's teeth.

For some reason that is still to be explained to me, the man who is behind the cruel behaviour is covered in chains and padlocks when he taunts both the spider and the snake.

Arteval Duarte was performing the dangerous stunt in an attempt to raise awareness about deforestation in the Amazon. I haven't got the answer as to how this proves anything, really.
Leaving his face covered in blood, Duarte's punctured lip following the painful snake bite doesn't seem to bother him too much.

Our thoughts go out to the spider who has chosen not be named. It has not suffered any life-threatening injuries, but a unreliable source claims that it is was severely shaken following the incident.
There are rumours that the snake, who is being crowned a hero in TheLADbible HQ, is going to be recognised for his brave and selfless efforts to rescue his friend.
We attempted to contact both creatures, but their whereabouts are not known.
Good work, nature.
