Why Kanye 2020 Is Something We Should Make Happen

Why Kanye 2020 Is Something We Should Make Happen

Imagine Kim as first lady.

Well, it's happened. A big gunge of fake tan and a toupee is the President of the United States. There's sod all anyone can do about it, so we've got to put up with it. Let's move on.

Now, we look ahead four years to 2020. If you're against Trump in the White House, then you have to put your faith in another man. A man who knows no boundaries. A man who is a self-proclaimed genius. A man who looks to no one for help and advice. A man who will be upstaged by no one else. That man, is Kanye West.

The rapper will reportedly run for president at the turn of the next decade, claiming to not "have views on politics. I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth."

Given that so many people have put their fate into the hands of a man who has said some bullshit in a political campaign, has shouted loudly to get his point across, and is against the norm when it comes to fashion - then why not vote for Kanye?

To be quite honest, it should be a thing that every president enters any event while 'Black Skinhead' plays loudly and the lights flash like strobes as pyros shout flames into the air. It would be as if Kane is making an entrance at Wrestlemania. And if we're going to have Melania Trump as first lady, why not have Kim? Think about the emojis. At least we'd get a Snapchat tour of the White House.

While appearing on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show back in August, The Life of Pablo rapper said: "If there is anything that I can do with my time and my day, to somehow make a difference while I'm alive, I'm going to try to do it." This is obviously an admirable claim, but you can apply any connotation to 'making a difference'.

Following the election, it was found that around 11,000 people voted for Harambe, our fallen hero. While I'm sure these people were pledging their allegiance to viral hilarity and an animal taken too soon, they are 11,000 votes. Yes, very funny, a dead gorilla in the running. But those 11,000 votes could have been used properly, meaning there's a possibility Trump wouldn't be president right now.

Those 11,000 people should think wisely and, instead of wasting their votes, in 2020 #VOTEKANYE instead. Of course, I understand the irony of that, and I don't fully expect anyone to seriously want a man who rapped: "Trade the Grammy plaques just to have my granny back/ Remember she had that bad hip like a fanny pack," but if the ridiculousness of Trump being in charge of the country is anything to go by, then this isn't impossible.

"We are numb, we're numb to 500 kids getting killed in Chicago a year, we're numb to the fact that it was seven police shootings in the beginning of July ... we're numb to places on the Earth that we don't live. Like, our life is okay but it's okay for other people's lives to not be okay," Kanye said to Annie Mac. This is true, and given his status as a perfectionist, he'd try his hardest to stamp out the bad things in the US.

I'll tell you who should also consider running in 2020, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. What do you guys think? IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK.
