This Woman's Attempt At Getting Some Compensation Is Absolutely Hilarious

Unlucky.

We all get to a point where we'd do quite a lot to get a bit of extra cash. Just ask Sam Allardyce.

If you're clever about it you can in some way obtain a bit of dough to get you through that tough period between Christmas and New Year, but this woman from the city of Nanyang wasn't clever about it at all.

A popular scam in China, pedestrians run in front of cars so they're hit at a slow speed so they can claim compensation, this woman thought she'd try her hand at it on December 24.

Bless her for trying, but she made a right hash of it, putting in an acting performance so bad that it'd rival any effort in Hollyoaks.

The act of doing this is actually called 'pengci', which translates to 'touch porcelain.' It derives from the Qing Dynasty, when a person would dress up as a nobleman, carrying lots of expensive looking china in a crowded place. He'd wait for someone to knock into him, drop the porcelain and then ask for money.

The introduction of dash cams is helping to lower the amount of times this happens, but fucking hell, it's funny.
