If you ever see two obituaries for the same person in the newspaper, you probably assume one of the sub-editors has had a nightmare.

You probably wouldn't expect one of the obituaries to have been sent in from the deceased's wife and the other from his long-term girlfriend.

Leroy B. Black, from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, died on Tuesday from lung cancer due to fibreglass exposure, both obituaries said.

He was 55-years-old.

The top obituary, sent in by his 'loving wife' Bearetta Harrison Black, calls her husband Leroy Bill Black while his girlfriend's one, below, reads Leroy "Blast" Black.

The second one, by girlfriend Princess Hall, also makes absolutely no mention of the wife Bearetta. Dig.

According to the Philly Voice, where the obituaries were printed, everyone knew there was going to be two obituaries because the wife wanted it one way and the girlfriend wanted it another.

No one is quite sure whether they knew about each other though, though the wording at the end may suggest they had weirdly come to some kind of arrangement.

Black is survived by his son Jazz Black. And his wife. And his girlfriend.
