Kurt Cobain Is Alive And Is Disguising Himself As A Kurt Cobain Imitator

Kurt Cobain Is Alive And Is Disguising Himself As A Kurt Cobain Imitator

What a plan.

Kurt Cobain died in 1994 - the year I was born. There was a three month gap between my birth and Cobain's suicide, and I never let my dad forget that he was a fucking prick for not taking me, in my nappy, to a Nirvana gig.

Of course, it wasn't really possible, and he'd have been a dick to have taken a two month old baby to a grunge concert, but still, I'd have liked to have seen Cobain live.

Despite the crippling heroin addiction, and the fact he wrote songs like 'I Hate Myself and I Want To Die', the man was brilliant.

But, I ask you this: why should Tupac be the only 90s musician to have rumours about him still being alive? The answer is simple - he shouldn't - and that's why there's one about Kurt Cobain.

He's very much alive, and he's masquerading as a Kurt Cobain imitator, because he's seriously fucking clever. Think about it, if you see an imitator, whether it be a tribute act or just a lookalike, you don't think twice. You just look and think: 'Wow, they do look alike'. Kurt has got that down to a tee. No one has ever suspected that Kurt Cobain is a Kurt Cobain imitator, or that a Kurt Cobain imitator is Kurt Cobain.

Here he is performing on Peruvian television, pretending to be a man named Ramiro Saavedra.

Just to get this straight, this is not a man called Ramiro Saavedra, it's Kurt Cobain pretending not to be Kurt Cobain, while pretending to be Ramiro Saavedra, who is pretending to be Kurt Cobain.

'Ramiro' was competing on Peruvian talent show Yo Soy - which I guess is the Peruvian Stars in Their Eyes. He went on to win the competition, which is quite an injustice, given that he is Kurt Cobain.
