A Behind The Scenes Look At The Carponizer Carp Fishing Calendar

A Behind The Scenes Look At The Carponizer Carp Fishing Calendar

It's not a run of the mill calendar.

You may have a calendar up on your wall in your bedroom, or maybe at work, but I can guarantee that it's shit in comparison to this one.

You can have supermodels, girls straddling motorbikes, hyper-cars, or even your beloved football team, but none of them come close to the Carponizer carp fishing calendar 2017.

It's available from Amazon for the not-so-cheap-as-chips price of £16.90 and currently has a five-star product rating. Its designers describe it as being made to 'make men's hearts beat faster'.

We gave you a cheeky sneak peek back in December for this year's addition, showing you that there's always room in any market for women to pose naked with carps.

Of course, while a calendar is hanging on your wall, we spare no thought for the work that goes into making them.

Luckily we've been given a behind the scenes clip of the Carponizer carp fishing calendar, as photographer Raphael Faraggi works with models and fish in Bretange, France over six weeks to get the best shots.

There is a team dedicated to not only making the girls look good for the pictures but also who clean and polish the scales of the carp before they cosy up with the models.

Carponizer carp fishing calendar is top of the food chain when it comes to calendars, but not far behind is Goats in Trees, an organiser that pleases the eye with, yep, you guessed it, goats in trees.

"You can call them silly goats if you like, but these groups of goats are wise," the product description reads on Amazon. "In arid regions like Morocco, nimble goats go where vegetation is plentiful... to treetops."

In fairness, goats are fucking great, and if they're anywhere they're not supposed to be, like in a tree, then they're even better.

We mustn't forget that there are also calendars that are dedicated to the food of the world.

Sometimes looking at pictures of your favourite food can inspire you, maybe even excite you, and when it comes with facts and trivia, it can educate you.

Take the I Love Bacon 2017 wall calendar, brought to you by the same legends who brought us Goats in Trees. It's all you need if you're a fan of crispy bacon. I must stress, though, that if you don't like it crispy, this is not for you.

Whether it's streaky or smoked, salt cured or maple cured, pork belly or bacon back, you get 18 months of mouth-watering pictures, which come with recipes and facts.

There's also a calendar dedicated to Yoga Cats, another that sees monkeys dressed in ridiculous clothing and Playful Pigs posing like humans in various scenarios. All of which should be considered for purchase.

Or you could use your phone, just like everybody else.
