It seems like the one thing we know for sure about the Canadians is that they are polite. I know, I know, that's OUR thing. Us Brits love being polite and bitching about anyone who doesn't abide by the conventions we've had in place for centuries. Wait, don't you DARE push in when we've been queuing for hours. We're not going to call you on it but we'll happily mutter behind our hands and knock into you at the bar.
Well, Canada is sick of being nice. They've been pushed around by the US for too long. They've been the butt of one too many jokes and they're at the end of their tether.
After Trump's shock victory, they decided enough was enough. It's time to get passive-aggressive.
Their thinly-veiled attack of Donald Trump's policies, which apparently the majority of the USA agrees with, is great. You kind of want to high-five the whole country for being Billy Big Bollocks and making their voice heard.
