Although getting faeces thrown in your face isn't exactly the nicest thing to endure, we can all agree on some people that deserve it, like Martin Shkreli.
Shkreli, rather abysmally, is best known for bumping the price of a cancer drug from $13.50 to $750 per pill. He was to appear at the University of California, Davis with Twitter-ghost Milo Yiannopoulos, for a speaking event being billed as 'Shkrelopoulos', a 'Twitter villain extravaganza'.
Due to the provocative nature of the pair's personalities, protesters turned out to vent their anger at invitation made by Davis College Republicans, going so far as to block the entrance, effectively shutting down the event.
Shkreli himself was actually involved in the debacle. ABC 10's Frances Wang filmed the 33-year-old being posing with fans. A nearby critic can be heard shouting "You piece of shit!" before throwing 'dog poop' in his face.
UC Davis Republicans rescheduled the event for 1pm. They tweeted: "We will not stand for the regressive left perpetuating violence, censoring speech, and spreading hate."
Fair. No-platforming is shite, as I addressed in a fine article last year, but let's not pretend that someone wiping dog shit off their face isn't funny.
