What could possibly go wrong?

Trusting the public to come up with names for stuff is a stupid idea. Remember Boaty McBoatface?

Over in New Zealand some bright spark at McDonald's decided on a promotion called "Create Your Taste" which invited the public to go online to design their own burger and get free fries and a soft drink. What could possibly go wrong? Loads. Loads could go wrong.

And those who took part didn't let us down. They came up with names like Pound My Behind Daddy, Rektal Prolapse and Puusee Sammich - who wouldn't want to eat a Puusee Sammich?

According to Dorkly, McDonald's, or Macca's as it's known in New Zealand, apparently did put some word filters on there but that just encourages people to get creative, doesn't it?

The images originally appeared here, but, unsurprisingly, the page for this promotion has been pulled now. I think Ron's Creamy Surprise will live on forever in our hearts, though.
