It makes me want to shoot myself saying this, but... for the first time in my life, I think I am about to stick up for Donald Trump.
During the radio interview with Howard Stern, Trump brought up Paris Hilton, who is a well-known friend of his daughter Ivanka's.
He said: "Now, somebody who a lot of people don't give credit to but in actuality is really beautiful is Paris Hilton," he said. "I've known Paris Hilton from the time she's 12. Her parents are friends of mine, and the first time I saw her she walked into the room and I said, 'Who the hell is that'?"
To be fair, what the presenter says is worse. "She's hot," he interrupts with the clear aim to try and force the controversial businessman to saying something he would regret. "Did you want to bang her?" - bit of a slime-bag question from Stern, but again, trying to stir things up.
"Well at 12 I wasn't interested, I've never been into that... but she was beautiful" Trump replied. Stern tried his hardest to put the word 'hot' into Trump's mouth when describing 12-year-old Hilton, but the businessman consistently opted to use the word 'beautiful' to describe her, which, she probably was.
Okay, he soon gave Stern the controversial nature he was digging for when he admitted that he had watched her sex tape. But, let's face it, what (slightly above) middle-aged man wouldn't watch Hilton's sex tape if they had access to it. At the time, for the record, she was 23 years old.
