Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom has received 300 complaints about I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! campmates 'bullying' contestant Iain Lee.

Amir Khan, Dennis Wise and Jamie Lomas have been accused of bullying Lee, with many taking to social media in the past few days to say it made 'uncomfortable' viewing. As well as the outcry on Twitter, 300 people have complained to Ofcom, according to the Sun.

The paper reports that on the night Dennis was booted out the camp it received 207 complaints, with 129 made in the days beforehand.

A spokesperson from Ofcom told the paper it is accessing the complaints before making a decision on whether it needs to investigate further.

After leaving the camp, Dennis told the Sun he wasn't a bully and blamed the shows editing for making him look bad.

He said: "My relationship with Iain is fine, I don't get all this bullying talk, I don't think that is correct. I am a person who says what I think and I am working from a competitive angle and I have always been in this team element."

Meanwhile, Faryal Makhdoom, Amir Khan's wife, spoke out to defender her husband.

Speaking on This Morning, she said: "With Iain I can't really say anything. I think they all say things to each other, but when Amir says something everyone catches on to it more, with Iain I think it sometimes get ignored. But I think they are both doing great."

When asked about Amir lying about eating the strawberries, and leaving Iain to take all the blame, she said: "That is not something that Amir would do.

"I was shocked. I had my mouth open for two minutes. I never knew he liked strawberries that much"

"Normally he's quite sharing."

But despite what they've said, viewers are still angry with the trio for 'picking on' Iain:

Christine Pratt, from the National Bullying Helpline told the Sun: "Bullying is very often about perception. Collusion, mobbing, exclusion and negative and hurtful comments is, simply, bullying. It is outlawed in the workplace.

"If what is happening in the jungle was occurring online i.e. cyberbullying and it was seemed to be both serious and causing distress, it might carry a prison sentence under the Malicious Communications Act, part of The Harassment Act."
