If you're the sort of person who likes to know far too much about professional wrestlers from the 1990s, then do I have a treat for you?

Because Ric Flair has opened up about his personal life in his ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary, and he really wasn't shy about what he got up to away from the ring.

During the eye-opening documentary, Ric reveals his nuclear-grade sex drive, saying that during the height of his fame he was masturbating twice a day in addition to sleeping with around 10,000 women.

How did he have time for that? How did he manage to fit wrestling and training in around two wanks and, what must have been, several sexual encounters with women a DAY?

Ric, real name Richard Fliehr, used the documentary as a sort of therapy session, admitting that despite being married four times, he found that monogamy wasn't for him.

He said: "I probably took it real serious for about a day. ... I mean, I tried, but it just - I was miserable."

Opening up about his demanding sex drive, he said: "Let me tell you something, if you're wrestling and you're in Hutchinson, Kansas, and you're gonna spend the night there, I'm gonna find something to do. I'm not going through that night by myself."

He also spoke about his struggles with alcohol admitting to drinking every single day for over 10 years - and we're not talking about a quick pint after work. In the documentary Ric recalls the time he was talking to a sport's psychologist about his drinking habits back in the 1980s.

He said: "He asked: 'How much do you drink a day?' I said, 'I'll drink at least 10 beers, and probably five mixed drinks'.

"He said, 'Well, how many days a week do you do that?' I said, 'Every day.' He said, 'Well, how do you mean every day?' I said, 'I work every day. I drink a beer in the car, I get to the hotel and I drink vodka'. He came out of his chair and (he said), 'You drink every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and you've been doing that for how long?' I said, 'Well, let me see. It's 1989, I started in '72, you do the math. Almost 20 years'.

"He said, 'That's not possible'. I said, 'Oh yeah, it is'.'By the time I got through with that son of a bitch, he was laying on the couch and I was on the chair talking to him."

Ric has since said he's given up alcohol, saying he 'wouldn't even begin to think about drinking'.
