In recent years music videos have all been fairly similar. Clubs, flashing lights, champagne bottles, posh cars and gold chains. To be noticed a bit more it takes a bit of creativity.

The Weeknd's new video for 'False Alarm' does just that. In the video, the viewer is thrown into a first person POV element, as a bank robbery unfolds.

It starts fairly tame, but as it goes on it gets more dramatic and a lot more violent.

We will probably find that there's not much relateability in clips of rich people dancing with loads of girls, pouring away expensive drinks that most of us would drink off the floor given the price tag. Although it isn't exactly easy to relate to this video, unless you're a bank robber, it makes you feel like you're a part of it. Like playing a video game.

Further into the video it's far more exhilarating and graphic. This gives the viewer more of a reason to not only watch the whole thing, but listen to the entire song - which is the point anyway.

We've got a lot of time for this.
