At first I thought this Soulja Boy/Chris Brown thing was just stupid, but now it's gone beyond stupid into the absurd, as none other than former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson has just dropped a Soulja Boy diss track with the title: 'If You Show Up'.
So, quick recap: Soulja Boy and Chris Brown had a little falling out on social media after Soulja posted loads of 'heart eye' emojis under this picture of Karrueche, Chris Brown's ex. See why I thought this was stupid?
Anyway, that escalated quickly and ended up with the two rappers deciding the only way to sort it would be with a boxing match. That's because, apparently, just getting the fuck over stuff isn't an option when you're in the public eye.
Given that neither of the men are boxers, they obviously needed a bit of help. Pretty soon Floyd Mayweather got involved in offering to help out Soulja Boy and, not to be outdone, Chris Brown enlisted the help of tattoo-sporting boxing champ Iron Mike.

Mayweather has also said that he would like to organise the event and is hoping to stream the fight via a pay-per-view service, which, if I'm being honest, I would definitely pay to view.
As if this all couldn't get any more bizarre 50 Cent then stepped up and said that he would like to referee the fight. Why not?
Fiddy is also willing to bet $100,000 (£81,000) that Chris will take Soulja Boy. Wait a minute? I thought 50 Cent was skint.

Why has it got loads of women in the gym? Why is that one woman singing into a banana? Who knows.
My favourite lyrics, of both this song and perhaps any song ever, are: "Everybody talks shit behind the keys. I'm going to sting like a venereal disease." Which is like a 2017 update of Ali's famous 'float like a butterfly, sting like a bee'.
Life after the ring
This seems to be a case of everyone doing each other's jobs, with the two rappers having a go at boxing and the boxer having a go at rapping. But it's not the first time Tyson has flirted with the media since packing in boxing.
The 'Baddest Man on the Planet' enjoyed a wildly successful boxing career, winning 50 of his 58 fights - 44 by knockout. He was also the youngest ever boxer to win the WBA, WBC and IBF heavyweight titles, when he was aged just 20.
Outside the ring, things were less impressive. Tyson has had several well publicised run-ins with the law and was sentenced to six years in prison for rape. He served three before his release and he has also previously admitted to being addicted to cocaine.
Upon his release, he continued to fight, successfully, and is still widely recognised as one of the best heavyweights of all time.
He officially retired from boxing in 2005, but has since enjoyed a string of cameos and guest appearances. Perhaps most notable is Tyson's role in The Hangover (and The Hangover: Part II) where he plays a fictionalised version of himself.

With Tyson not actually being an actor, I suppose it makes sense that he plays himself a lot. He also starred in Rocky Balboa, Grudge Match and Scary Movie 5 (did they really make five of those films?!) as himself.
And he made a cameo in the 1989 Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince music video, "I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson" as Mike Tyson, which I imagine wasn't too much of a stretch for him.
As well as his cameos on film and TV, Tyson headed back into the ring when he made a guest appearance at WrestleMania XIV in 1998 where he was a special outside enforcer in the main event match between Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He received an eye-watering $3million (£2.4 million) for his role.
He was also a guest host at WWE Monday Night Raw in 2010 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012, which is definitely his proudest achievement.
So, assuming this Chris Brown/Soulja Boy fight ever happens, who's going to win?
