Seriously spooky...

IF YOU HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT THAT THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME, SEEK HELP

Whenever a massive cinematic event happens, the internet loses its collective mind.

Fan theories, leaks, and 'spoilers' are posted to every corner with people desperately trying to either prove that they've got the inside line, or just to mess with other fans' heads.

Very rarely is any of it genuine. In fact, 99.999 per cent of the time it is weapons grade bullshit. However, when it comes to Avengers: Endgame, it looks like one person at least might have been spot on.

Since the release of Marvel's magnum opus, a mysterious account has resurfaced that made predictions about the content of the film - which was guarded secretively, even from the actors - that are remarkable.

That's because they all came true.

On the 4 December, 2018, an account by the name of Roger Wardell (@RogerWardell) started offering up cryptic clues about the film, which at the time was just known as 'Avengers 4'.

The first revelation was: "In Ragnarok Thor lost a lot of things but what he loses in Avengers 4 is unexpected. He loses his figure, expect him to look a bit like his old friend Volstagg."

Sure enough, in Endgame we see Thor massively overweight. Spooky.

However, that's a pretty small deal.

He followed it up by predicting the crossover from TV to film of Edwin Jarvis. That too proved to be true.

Small fry, so far. How about a massive reveal?

A day later, 'Roger' - probably not his real name - tweeted: "In Avengers 4 Thanos meets his end when Thor finally takes his advice from the previous film. No going forward with this character."

Bloody hell. Thor did take that advice and decapitated Thanos the Mad Titan. This guy's information appears to be legit.

As well as that, he also foresaw Stan Lee's cameo in the film back in the 1970s, the scene in the elevator that is almost exactly the same as a scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and a moment where Captain America shouts "Hail Hydra!".

Fair play, whilst most of the internet was talking shite, this guy had the inside track.

It's not just the movie, either.

He predicted that Marvel Studios is looking at making Power Pack and Ms Marvel for the new Disney+ streaming service, and that Marvel is keen to give The Black Knight a standalone set of movies.

How could he have known all of this? Who is the mystery spoiler? Does the 'Mystery Spoiler' deserve a Marvel comic all of his own? We'll just never know.

Avengers: Endgame is in cinemas now.
