Every series of The Apprentice needs a loud-mouthed idiot who will slowly start chipping away at other contestants' - and the viewers' - patience. Shame it's usually more than one.

This series is no exception to that rule. Cue the arrival of 29-year-old Jessica Cunningham, whose very voice grates me.

Cunningham, who claims to be the female version of Jim Carrey, admitted that she used to work as a lap dancer, earning up to £300 a night.

For all of you dying to meet her, here's a little glimpse into what you have to endure look forward to from Cunningham...

"If someone pushes me too far, I'll flip," she said. Even after one minute of watching her promo video, I'm ready to mute the TV.

It is alleged that the mother-of-three from Dronfield in Derbyshire used work as an erotic dancer at a club in Liverpool.

The self-confessed 'really good candidate' is supposedly BFF with Charlotte Miskell, the lady who recently came under fire by perverts commenting on her LinkedIn profile - it's a small world.

The exposure from her previous job caught the attention of BBC producers when she auditioned. She soon gained a place - alongside other 'strong' candidates - and will face Lord Alan Sugar to hopefully prove why he should invest into her business assets.

The online entrepreneur, who runs fashion house Prodigal Fox, admitted to her previous job in an interview with the Daily Mail. "I briefly worked in a strip club a long time ago for a couple of months and this is very much a part of my past," she said.

Cunningham's hoping that she will find a way to impress Lord Sugar as she goes up against the 17 other 'strong' candidates all battling to claim the £250k investment that's up for grabs.

The 12th Series of The Apprentice will be aired on BBC One from October 6.
