Ewan McGregor Refuses To Go On GMB Because Of Piers Morgan

Ewan McGregor Refuses To Go On GMB Because Of Piers Morgan

This is a bit awkward.

Piers Morgan has a fun job, doesn't he? He basically gets paid to piss the public off on the telly. He loves his job so much, that he's even taken to getting on people's nerves in his spare time.

Over the weekend, millions across the world took part in the Women's March - a protest against the newly installed POTUS, Donald J Trump. It was all over social media and Piers decided to get involved.

In case you missed it, he took to social media during the Women's March to criticise the protestors, calling them 'rabid feminists', before adding that he was 'all in favour of equality' (which is big of him, eh?) but that he wasn't interested in a 'pointless march'.

Obviously, this caused uproar on social media, even his co-host, Susanna Reid, got involved in reminding Piers that he was sat next to a feminist every day at work.

So, you get the idea, lots of angry women, lots of angry men - just another day on Twitter.

Taking the argument offline, though, is T2 Trainspotting star Ewan McGregor. He was due to appear on Good Morning Britain to promote the new film, however, he promptly pulled out when he realised that it would mean sharing a sofa with Piers.

Not one to let a good argument slip away, Piers responded:

Before adding this little pun:

Ooo.

The Twitter spat has already attracted lots of attention, with some agreeing with Piers and tweeting that Ewan should go on and argue his political view point while others said that Ewan is right to stick to his morals. What do you guys think?
