Will Smith and Martin Lawrence recently announced they'd be reuniting for the third installment of the Bad Boys franchise, much to our delight.

I mean, it's been 16 years since we heard Mike tell his best mate Marcus: "We ride together, we die together. Bad boys for life." Much like Toy Story 4, this one's been a long time coming.

Smith teased fans last week when he shared the first official image of him and Lawrence on the shoot of the forthcoming film - which began last month - writing on Instagram: "FIRST LOOK! Theeeeey'reBAAAAaaaack! :-) @badboys."

Ahead of the first day of shooting, Smith also promised it's about to be 'KRAZY'.

Filming for Bad Boys For Life is currently taking place in and around Atlanta, where some people have even managed to catch a glimpse of the shoot underway - including at a cemetery, it seems, which doesn't bode particularly well.

According to Atlanta Magazine, last month crews filmed in Buckhead, Norcross and at a home on Lullwater Road not far from Emory University. Signs were also spotted in Marietta and in Hapeville.

But on 29 January, the production was apparently taken to Westview Cemetery, where 'artificial rain fell on cast an extras'.

Cemeteries and rain? A loaded cinematic trope if ever there was one.

As yet, though, we don't know who's in the scene or why they're there. Is it the funeral of a character? Is someone visiting a grave?

ComicBook.com also speculates it's possible the scene is a 'fake-out of sorts', as a synopsis of the film noted that a drug cartel leader is after Mike.

"Maybe Mike's death is faked, allowing him to continue working the case as well as providing a little more information about the threat they are up against," the website suggests.

What we do know about the film is that we'll see Mike in the midst of a mid-life crisis after falling out with his old buddy - having to deal with being matched with a newer, younger partner.

Marcus, meanwhile, is busy working as a private investigator.

The film also has a reported budget of $100 million (£77.8m), so no doubt there should be plenty of stunt-filled action to enjoy, and is expected to be released in 2020.
