In May this year, Avengers: Infinity War will hit cinema screens with a vengeance (see what I did there?), with Iron Man, Thanos, Hulk, Falcon, Thor and a fucktonne of other superheroes attempting to save the world. Hey, it's what they do.

Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon/Sam Wilson, recently revealed to Heroic Hollywood that the upcoming film will feature a scene with not five, not ten, not 20 but 40 superheroes... or thereabouts.

Marvel Studios

"There was one day we were on set and were doing this scene that's in the trailer where we're all running to battle, you know, all of us are on set and it's like 40 superheroes. I look to my right and I see Tom Holland and Dave Batista," he said.

"I see them in the corner and Tom is literally the size of Dave's leg, I don't know what they're talking about but Batista jumps up and does a kick-punch move and I was like, 'Yo, you're about to kill him!'"

That's a lot of superheroes for one scene. Personally, I prefer films where I have one goodie and one baddie and everything is clear and easy to understand, like in every day life. Same goes for football, politics and wars.

Avengers (aka Avengers Assemble)o riginally hit cinema screens in 2012 and grossed over a billion dollars at the box office. Its follow up, Avengers: Age of Ultron, was similarly successful, which means there will be a lot of pressure on this latest installment to make mega-bucks.

However, with 40 superheroes in just one scene, it goes without saying that it's going to be the most successful film of all time. Maybe.

The trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, clocked up a record breaking 230 million views across all social media according to its makers, Marvel Studios. Comic book fans are eagerly anticipating the film's release, at least partially because it features a crossover with the characters from the similarly successful Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

Images released last year showed Galaxy star Chris Pratt... well, pratting about on set with his Avengers co-stars, sending anticipation levels several miles north of the stratosphere.
