Kylie Jenner has more Instagram followers than any of us could ever dream of. Every single post attracts millions of likes while shots of our holidays in Spain garner a mere double digits.
The 21-year-old held the record for the highest number of likes for a photo on the social networking site, which was a depressing 18 million.

But she's been knocked off the winner's podium by an egg.
Yes, you read that right.
Possibly the most mundane photo of a mundane, inanimate object now has that record. But this wasn't a mistake or a glitch in the Insta-Matrix, this was the sole purpose of the account and its only post.
Accompanying the picture is the caption: "Let's set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this."
Not only does it take the top spot but it's also the only picture not including a human in Instagram's most liked 20 pictures. Not a bad feat for a simple egg. At time of writing, it had 19 million likes and didn't appear to be slowing down any time soon.
Kylie Jenner's now-second-best photo was her newborn baby Stormi's tiny hand cradling the young woman's thumb. The post has also now been flooded with egg related comments.
She'll still get hundreds of millions of likes in any given year and probably receive tons of cash for sponsored content, but she won't have that top spot - that is unless she 'breaks the internet' with a new picture.
The egg post is similar to a stunt achieved by an American man in 2017, who wanted to see if he could get the most amount of retweets on Twitter.
Fast food empire Wendy's told him he'd get free chicken nuggets for a year if he got a whopping 18 million retweets - why is 18 the magic number for social media, I wonder?

Sadly for Carter Wilkerson, he didn't reach that number (not even close), but he did knock Ellen DeGeneres off the top spot. The TV host had 3.3 million for her famous 'Oscars Selfie', but our boy managed to get 3.5 million.
What's better: a photo containing some of the biggest names in Hollywood ever or helping a man achieve his dream of not having to pay for deep fried chicken pieces?
While he didn't reach the number Wendy's wanted, they still gave him $1,000 in gift cards to eat as many nuggets as that could buy.
He told Delish: "They'd done the math and figured if I got a 4-piece every day for a little more than a year, that's about what it would cost. [The flexibility of having the gift cards] was kind of nice because I didn't have to just get chicken nuggets."
