How he managed it is unclear but it looks pretty nasty so we can hazard a guess that he was doing something absolutely ridiculous.

He posted a picture of himself from his hospital bed alongside the caption: "I really did a number on myself today. Apologies in advance for the images of my foot sticking out sideways - wish me luck in surgery!"

He doesn't look very arsed to be honest, does he? He has probably had more broken legs than I have had hot dinners to be fair.
