Gordon Ramsay Reveals That His Kids Won't Get His Fortune

And they don't get much now.

Gordon Ramsay has revealed that his children won't be left his multi-million-pound fortune in his will, and also said they don't get much now.

They're not even allowed to sit in first class with him, or eat in his restaurants.

The hot-tempered chef, who recently had his say on the whole pineapple-on-pizza debate, believes that his children should 'work hard' for their money as it is not his 'number one objective'.

Ramsay, who owns numerous Michelin-star restaurants, said he wants his children to earn their own money and not be 'spolit'.

Ramsay has four children, Matilda 15, Jack and Holly, 17, and Megan, 18, and they will each only receive a 25 per cent deposit for a flat from his fortune.

The youngest, Matilda, has already begun to follow in her father's footsteps as she too has a cookery show - Matilda And The Ramsay Bunch.

Jack aspires to be in the marines, while Holly is interested in fashion and currently works part-time in a shop. Megan is a philosophy student who babysits to earn cash.

The last time they all went to one of his restaurants was for Megan's 16th birthday when they dined at Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea.

"They have served the Chelsea pensioners there for Christmas lunch, but not eaten there," Ramsay said.

"They don't sit with us in first class. They haven't worked anywhere near hard enough to afford that... I worked my fucking arse off to sit that close to the pilot and you appreciate it more when you've grafted for it."

During a Reddit discussion two months ago, the millionaire chef reinforced his point about his children having a 'work ethic'.

A poster asked how he had such responsible kids for a father who was rarely in the house, Ramsay responded: "I've never been at home seven nights a week cooking for the kids. What I've instilled in the kids, from day one, is a work ethic. So, the time we spend together is limited, but quality.

"I need to protect them and respect the restaurant and team in my restaurant. I made them as normal as possible... they've all got jobs, they've all taken care of animals, they've all got housework. There's a rota. They get pocked money, but they have to earn that pocket money."

Ramsay, who is big mates with David Beckham, said his children are also not allowed to date any of Becks' kids.

"Three girls and a boy, and three boys and a girl - you'd be amazed at the synergy," he told TV magazine. "We've promised that no one dates anybody, and so far..."

He added: "If Holly said: 'Yeah Brooklyn and I'... it would be: 'No Holly.'"

He's as blunt with that as he is with others' food. Recently he's been taking to Twitter to criticise the food that people send him.

Ramsay, who could have been a professional footballer at one point with Rangers (a no-messing Scottish outfit), often replies to people's attempts in the kitchen.

When you ask Ramsay to score your food, don't be surprised at the response you get.
