Daniel Craig has been 'over' the James Bond franchise for a while and we imagine it's only been the £38 million pay cheque for the four movies he's done so far that has kept him remotely sweet.
But after several recent criticisms of the franchise, including saying he'd rather 'slash his wrists' than play Bond again, it's pretty much confirmed Craig won't be returning as 007 following Spectre.
Since 2005, Craig has earned a huge sum playing the legendary secret agent and producers believed they could woo him to do two more movies by offering him an eye-watering £68 million contract.
However, the 48-year-old actor decided he'd rather give up his role as Bond, that he's held since 2005, than continue working with MGM.

An LA film source told the Daily Mail: "Daniel is done - pure and simple - he told top brass at MGM after Spectre.
"He had told people after shooting that this would be his final outing, but the film company still felt he could come around after Spectre if he was offered a money deal."
Despite this, other sources have claimed producers quickly grew tired of Craig's criticism and are happy to let him go.
Craig's departure has of course meant the rumour mill is back into over drive with bookies no longer taking bets on Tom Hiddleston becoming the next Bond.

According to BoyleSports bookmaker representative Liam Glynn, they expect it's 'only a matter of days' before the Night Manager actor is announced as the new 007.
