Well, that's according to a conspiracy theory that claims Avril Lavigne passed away in 2003 and was replaced by a doppelgänger.
Apparently, the real Avril died immediately after the release of her debut album.
According to the theory, the 'My Happy Ending' singer slipped into the depths of depression because of the death of her grandfather and the pressures of fame, and she was found dead at her home.
However, those in the know kept quiet about the whole thing and replaced her with some fake and phony imposter called Melissa Vandella.

Nah, she's deffo been replaced. Today is her 32nd Birthday so I'm definitely on board with this theory because she doesn't look a day over 21.
