Has the world gone completely loopy?! I swear this year has been the strangest of all time. At the moment, working in social media is especially interesting as you literally can't call what's going to happen. You come into the office expecting to write about a celebrity's birthday and end up writing about something completely different.

Anyway, to make matters even weirder, a teacher has packed in her £2k-a-month job and started catching Pokémon full-time.

I shit you not.

Twenty-six-year-old Sophia Pedraza has become Britain's first full-time Pokémon Go player. I know what you're thinking, though, 'how the fuck is she going to be able to make money from that?'!

Well, according to The Sun, you can buy Pokémon Go accounts on eBay. People go out and collect Pokémon for you, and you just reap the rewards. Accounts can cost anywhere from £50 to a few grand depending on the amount of Pokémon and rewards etc.

With some accounts selling on eBay for upwards of £7,000 you can't really blame her for trying to cash in.

Sophia lives in High Barnet, London. Apparently, she was obsessed with the game anyway so figured why not give up private lessons to kids in maths, English and music?! In my opinion, kids are boring anyway. And they get food everywhere. Pokémon are fun and have never smushed a muffin into a couch in the history of the planet. So Pokémon > children.

She's not daft either as she even has a law degree. Speaking to the Sun, she said that she plays the game for up to 18 hours a day and that she's 'going to do it as long as it makes money'.

What happens after that, though? Well, she has a plan for that, too. She added: "It's a big craze at the moment and there's money to be made but if it slows down I can always go back to teaching."

Who fancies buying my account? I'm on level six and have about 50 Pidgeys. Make me an offer.
