Despite the good weather, I'm afraid summer is almost over.
Whether you like it or not, the cold, harsh winter is just around the corner and you're going to have to forget about lying on the beach with a piña colada regretting every single one of your actions from the night before.
Trying a worm in the middle of the dancefloor will see a bruise on your chin subside in a few days. Getting embarrassed by the woman you tried it on with will see your ego damaged for a little while longer. The tattoo of a club promoter's name, however, will be with you forever.
But for ten people who went to Magaluf this summer that is an actual reality.
Rob Moyles, 25, from Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland, was working as a promoter in Magaluf over the summer with a friend when they got to discussing tattoos.
His friend almost got the word 'chocho' inked on his neck after being told it meant 'legend' when it actually means 'pussy'.
"After that, I thought it'd be funny if I could get people to get my name tattooed," Rob told TheLADbible.
Incredibly, it didn't actually take too much convincing. Then again, this is Magaluf.
"Some of them were workers I was friends with, some of them were tourists," Rob added. "After speaking to most of them for a couple of days, having a laugh, they'd be up for getting it."
Within a month, nine people had Rob's name tattooed on them somewhere and, apparently, none of them have any regrets. Except one girl...
"One had a boyfriend back home she had been seeing for a year so I reckon she almost definitely regrets it, if I'm honest. I didn't see her again afterwards," he said.
"I wouldn't really directly ask them. I'd tell them about people who already had it done and they'd be shocked and suggest they get it done."
The tenth person to get Rob's name inked even put it under their lip... for real.
Let this be a lesson to you all for next year. Or a reminder of the dumb stuff you did this year.
Either way, just don't come home from a drunken holiday with a club rep's name tattooed on you.
