For most of us, winning in excess of £14 million on the lottery would effectively end our working lives. You literally never have to work again, so why would you?! Well, if you absolutely love your job, even millions of pounds wouldn't stop you from carrying on.
That's just what John Doherty did when he and his wife Allison scooped the jackpot back in July. Two days later he was back at it. And this week he renewed his official five-year Gas Safe qualifications - so he's clearly not planning to have an early retirement any time soon.
Speaking to the Mirror, he said: "I am who I am and nothing changes me. I've got all my regular customers I've had for 32 years and I didn't want to just leave them.

"I put in a lot of work building a business for myself so why would I just walk away from that?
"Lots of people still recognise me when I'm out on jobs - but I can't complain, all I've had is good reactions."

The Daily Record asked him if he'd not rather be spending his time relaxing on a beach somewhere. He replied: "No. I'm still working away. Absolutely nothing has changed. I still enjoy doing what I'm doing.
"I only still do this because I enjoy it. It keeps your feet on the ground and I'm still the same person I was before I won it.
"Early starts don't bother me at all. I've always done it and I've been doing it for 32 years."
He added: "I'm doing my re-assessment. Every five years you've got to renew your CCN1 certification so you can keep doing all your gas."

The pair won £14,671,343 when all six of their numbers came up on July 2.
